I simply don't want to go to bed, and keep pulling all-nighters (not in a row). My sleep schedule is totally upside down, backwards, all over the place. The idea of bed makes me feel lonely and isolated.

All of the questions your asking are focused upon a sleep disorder. Try some exercise program that will really make you sweat while you are watching yourself in a mirror. This way you and you will get to know each other. Get some dumbells.

I have had those feelings too. Almost afraid of sleep. There wasa time I wore headphones to bed so i couldnt think so much there and then end up having anxiety attacks.
Take a moment to make the place you sleep more of a comfort than a place of dread.
Make your bed appealing with nice sheets and blankets. Colors that make you feel good. Surround yourself with the things that comfort you. Books you like. A lamp that reminds you of something nice. Pictures of people you trust and love. scented candles. Anything that makes you feel comfortable and safe.
Take time to be in your bedroom and not sleep. Just relaxing and soaking up the atmosphere you created. Make this a place of solice for you.
I imagine there are some problems emotionally and when its time for bed ...you feel like you have to face them. Take time before bed or at first waking to to write down all the junk that clutters your mind daily. Just write it and leave it. Doesnt have to be litterary genius. Just utter nonesense is fine. One word at a time. Make it part of your daily routine. You'll find it helps empty your head of things that have no buisness being there.
And lastly, Speak to a Therapist and perhaps a doctor. Try all the things mentioned here before getting perscription sleep aides. Those could just make the problem worse by becoming dependent on them. Your body needs rest...which im sure you know. Face the fear head on. It is mind created so therefore it can be mind uncreated.

It sounds like you should see your doctor. He or she can refer you to a sleep disorder clinic or specialist. There could be a number of medical problems that are causing your sleep cycle to be disrupted. Don't put it off - make an appointment today.
