Ok I am giving you my secrets..... here's what you do. rent a hall have the wedding and reception in the hall. that away you only have to decorate one room.
pick the farthest wall from the door. Place your cake table there cornored put up an arch decorated with artificial flowers and ivy. centered on that wall. set up a waist high stand covered nicely more artificial flowers. and three candels. on the other side of the arch
set seats up cathederal style this will give you an aisle. drape off the outside of each aisle with streamer or fabric which ever fits you budget better. make some podium style stands place candles at the end of three rows. on each side make sure it is the side that is draped off. hang white christmas lights from the ceiling.
you can make the stands out of two by four and and boards painted whit attach ivy spiroling down the poles. place food table on the wall closes to the door you can have that set up to ease transition if you wont have a lot of help.
after the wedding go out side for wedding pictures and to throw the bouquet. this will give your cew time to set up tables. come back in and begin your reception.
cheap easy food Ideas are meat trays, potatoe salad, veggie trays, meat balls, baked beans , you can buy these in bulk at gordon foods or sams club buy every thing in bulk plates silver ware all of it. buy long rolls of vynle table cloth. put on tables befor wedding. to make things go more quickly.
center pieces candels and flower rings and graffitie you can also set up little bowls of mint and nuts on all the tables.
I hope I helped at least give and idea it doesnt have to be expencive to be romantic and beautiful.

If your attendees are OK with paying $800 for your wedding. Might be easy for you but is it easy for everyone else. Had this fight with my FI high school friend, he wanted us to spend $1,400 on a long weekend for his honeymoon.... NO WAY... sorry but not only is it cash but my vacation time as well. Pretty unfair for the guest. None of his friends came and he was pissed.
Just make sure your guest are OK with the money and time.
Or just you and the groom go.

If you can't do a cruise, how about just a boat cruise for dinner? I'm not sure where your from, but here in chicago they charge about $60 for dinner and dancing. I'd call the boat and ask if there is any one on the boat that can marry you. Good luck.

For me it's all the little details that will make my wedding unique from other peoples. From deciding the favors to the centerpieces to linens. It would be a LOT easier if there was only 1 thing I liked, but there are sooooo many to choose from!

depending where you are you could get married in a nearby park or overlooking the ocean then go to a restaurant for the reception. i have been to weddings like this. we got married in a small church then just had a party a couple of weeks later at my mom's. very low budget but nice

Wow! Are you sure you're not a guy? Most women want the big whole involved, lifetime of agony packed into one expensive ceremony.
I applaud you! Not sure about the cheapest wedding, but I do the ceremony for $50.00 so look for a cheap ordained person to do the vows anyway.

Get married in the courthouse, or just have a small simple wedding in your backyard. If you don't have a backyard, reserve a nearby public park.(it's free)
