Of course, people have one bad experience with an airline and give them a bad review (or one good experience and give them a good review) so it's not always accurate.

For example, I fly almost a hundred times a year, a lot of that on USAirways. I had ONE bad experience on USAirways (actually, it wasn't even the airline's fault. There was a 2-3 foot snowstorm in Boston and they closed the airport. They diverted us to Manchester, NH and couldn't get us back to Boston until the next morning. It wasn't the airline's fault at all. But the airline put us up in a hotel, gave us lots of up-to-the minute information, meal vouchers, and in general went way above and beyond what they could have done). And that's the only time I have ever had any major delay with that airline - and I've flown them at least a couple hundred times in the past 3 or 4 years. But some people would give the airline a bad review because they got us to Boston the next day.
