Forget being a proud american, it has nothing to do with that. But at least support the American worker. Dont buy a Kia or Fiat as exactly 0% of those are built or manufactured in the US. If it matters to you, which it should, do some research on it.

My recommendation to you would be a Honda Civic. Almost 90% of it is manufactured or assembled in the US and they run forever.

Best bet is go with a used car. It will give you a little more freedom to buy what you want and you can always find a good deal. If you are looking for a small car and gas mileage is really important to you then go with a honda civic or toyota corolla. both are good cars and will stay running. prices may very and the look are deffinately different. The finaly decision is up to you. hope you get something you like

I bought a Honda Civic five years ago. I bought a used one from a dealer. Its a very solid car, I have only had to do one major repair on it in the five years I've had it. Honda is the best way to go, they are very reliable cars that are GREAT on gas, and only need repairs in dire situations. Compared to other cars, they are less expensive, and for the money you might spend on them, you get what you paid for.
