i had a nephew with the same problem.. here's the solution: subtract DD: date today (30) - birthday (31) = -1
* if the answer is negative add the difference of DD to the previous month and reduce 1 month to the total of months
then: MM: month today (01) - birth month (5) = -4
* if the answer is negative add 12 then reduce 1 to years.
then: YY: year today (2007) - birth year (1997) = 10
applying the rules:
DD: -1 + 31 = 30 days
MM: -4 + 12 = 8 - 1 = 7 months
YY: 10 - 1 = 9 years

I hope i have solved your problem.:)

It seems like you just posted this question today. So your date is off anyway its 2007/02/08.

You're 9 which explains why you'd ask this question anyway
