At the grocery store, there is a seasoning called "Blackened Seasoning". It's just a mixture of spices to give it that blackened taste.

You can get a blackening seasoning at the grocery store, it will be with all the other seasonings. I have some called Chef Paul's Blackened Redfish Seasoning, I use it on Tilapia filets.
