FUDGE BROWNIES
***************************

INGREDIENTS

* 225 g butter
* 112 g unsweetened chocolate
* 400 g white sugar
* 4 eggs
* 125 g all-purpose flour
* 5 ml vanilla extract
* 3 g salt
* 240 g chopped walnuts

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees C. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
2. In a saucepan over very low heat, melt butter or margarine and chocolate, stirring the mixture constantly. Remove from heat, and stir the sugar into the chocolate. Allow the mixture to cool slightly. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour and salt; stir into the chocolate mixture. Fold in the walnuts. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
3. Bake in oven 30 to 35 minutes. Brownies are done when toothpick inserted into center come out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack.

Try these :

1 cup oil OR melted butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 T. vanilla
3 eggs
1 cup flour
2/3 cup chocolate powder / cocoa
1 t. baking soda
1/2 cup chocolate syrup (optional but makes it super chocolate)

Combine all till smooth, pour into a buttered pan and bake at 325* for approx. 30 minutes. Be sure to check after 20 min. in case your oven runs hotter. Every ones oven works differently.
