i had 2 seperate jars go bad in less than 6 months???????????????

maybe it doesnt like you. no if it is open it will go bad in a few months so i think that is normal. we just want it to last forever but it cant. good luck on your peanut butter i want a pbj sandwich now.

It shouldn't go stale, but the oils will go rancid - maybe that's what happened to it.
Store peanut butter in the fridge, and even though they are more expensive, only buy the small jars - even though you're going to have to replace it more ofter, you'll have a much fresher product.

The oil goes stale from oxidation. Put it in the fridge if your not using it fast enough
