I went to apply for a waitressing job and was told I needed to obtain a liquour card. What is that? I was even told I could go on line and do so... Where? BTW I live in Oklahoma City....

Here in Washington they require all bartenders and servers to go to Liquor Servers training and you recieve a card showing you a completed it. It trains you about liability, recognizing drunks, etc...

Sounds like something similar.

in some states or counties it is required by law that anyone serving liqour has to have a license you would go to the county auditor to obtain one. in some states there is a hefty fine

Go back to the place that told you to get a card and ask where, you can get a liquor card.
