Sounds a looks like worms.... Have you given her anti worm medicine lately? Just for safety reasons call your vet.
Generally, when a dogs excrement shows any worms, they will be round worms or tapeworms.
Round worms look similar to spaghetti. Nearly every puppy is born with round worms. This needs to be treated.
Tapeworms are spread through an intermediate host - the flea. The most obvious sign (frequently not seen on fecal exams) is what looks like a piece of rice stuck to their feces or back end. Sometimes, you will even see this move. It is a tapeworm segment and filled with tiny eggs (it's an egg sac, actually).
You need to take your pup to the vet anyway for vaccines, but a fecal check is just as important. Bring the little "slug" and show the vet. I can bet it's a tapeworm segment. They shed these in intervals, so it's not always visible. Also, if there are any other pets in the home, they should all be treated.
You need to keep the environment picked up to prevent re-infestation. Get a dewormer from the vet and get started on the vax and your pup is on its way to a healthy life.

BTW - little pot bellies are a great sign of worm infestation in puppies.
Good luck.

Probably a form of worm. Hook or round. Time for vet visit and some de-worming. No big deal, most little ones have it because they pass the placental barrier and of course dogs and puppies lick everything. Don't delay. Also, get that heartworm medicine as soon as vet okays it. Enjoy and take care of your best friend.

Yup...you have worms....err more pointedly, your pup has them. I had a similar issue with my dog when he was a pup. I went to the pet store and got this liquid called Evict. It lives up to its name and he's been worm free after the 2nd dose. Just follow the directions. It is flavored so that your pup will enjoy it.

Those are intestinal parasites, could be tape worms. You need to take your dog to the vet so they can get a sample of the stool and check for intestinal parasites (which i definately believe to be tape worms) and so they can give you the right meds for that.

I think they sound like tapeworms....fresh ones expand and contract....dead ones most often found around the butt look like sesame seeds or dry rice. they take a wormer from the vet and you should take a sample with you to the office...the age of your dog indicates that she is due for vet check/vaccinations anyway.

Tapeworms. Take a sample to the vet as she may have other parasites as well. They will give you meds to de-worms her.
