If 'their' man doesn't respond to them it's their own fault.
1/ They didn't get to know his 'Little ways' before they got together.
2/ They thought they could change him.
3/ They think they can replace his Mom.
4/ They don't respect him enough to have a series of sensible discussions about how they will run a home together, they just assume it will all happen by magic.
Relationships are hard work, they require communication.
Sorry ladies, but there are a lot of you who are not very good at communicating without getting moody. Big turn off for men.
Here are 3 major signs your guy has switched off and thinks he can't communicate with you. As in you wont listen no matter what he says.
1/ I'm off to the pub
2/ I'm off for a walk.
3/He retires to the toilet with the newspaper.
Here are some other tips.
Don't start a serious conversation the moment you both get in from work.
Don't start a serious conversation when he's watching the news or she's watching coronation street.
Don't start a serious conversation late a night when he's nearly asleep.
Why? You will only end up accusing him of not listening later on when he can't recall what you are talking about.
Guys - Do yourself a favour, flowers once a month really do work!
(but not on the same day!)

If you are honest, most women as mothers yell at their sons to raise the toilet seat, they don't yell to put it back down. That one can be considered party our fault. When you became a man, you became responsible for your own actions. If women would stop nagging and men would start listening we all would get along better. I've been married to my hubby 16 years. I have learned that he is more helpful around the house and better mannered if I don't nag. It all started with a Valentine's card I made for him with a ticket for ONE NAG FREE DAY. It was a joke but I realized it is the best thing a woman can give her husband. I learned to just don't say it. (He never used the ticket.) Love truly is grand if you learn to listen, not just hear, and talk softly.

Well, I don't know what loutish means, but being raised by a woman doesn't mean that you can blame you being a pig on her. Its called free will. Just because you were raised to be mannerful, it doesn't mean that you will be. Your shortcomings are your fault!

Right!!! And they don't have a brain in their heads either. To blame good 'ole Mum for the willful misdeeds of the son is a cop out. Any adult and even more than a few children are responsible for their own choices and actions. If those actions are yours, get over yourself and start taking some responsibility for your own life. Fortunately, I know more than a few decent males.

Gees, I thought it was only my husband who blamed everything on my mother...oh, right, the Generic Mother's door, I get it...
Personally I think the worse the mother was, the easier the job for the wife - after all, I can't possibly fail to be easier to live with than that gorgon...don't get me wrong, it cuts both ways; my father being a dead-loss is a real blessing to my husband too. It's all relative...

If you are ill-mannered, loud, lazy, untidy and leave the toilet seat up, then it is your fault, not your mother's. Doesn't it make you happy to make your woman happy? Be kind and help out and you both will be happy in the long run:)

Interesting question, I must say. And a very good point! As for my boyfriend, I have no complaints about the way he keeps his house at all. Well, OK, except for his cat's litter box - that could stand to be cleaned out a lot more.

No, what it's about time they realized is that women and men, in general, don't care about the same things. They care about not expending the one mili-erg of extra energy to put the seat down themselves, (instead, expending much more, b***hing about it,), and we care about sports, music, cars, and telling people exactly what we think instead of beating around the bush about things. I notice, the toilet seat thing is the ONE thing they don't do that about. Strange priorities.

I don't think it's totally the mothers responsibility for how her son(s) turns out.
The son learns things from other people and can decide on his own to do things his way.
Though I do often wonder, if some women even try to give her son(s) manners of any kind.

I agree that both genders have their flaws.
But not many men blame their failers or shortcummings on women.
Women Do !!!!
Why dont men complain about women leaving the seat down !!!
