My first thought would be to try and find a name that sounds in some way similar to his present name it would be easier for him to adjust to it. Failing that what about
Samson Sam for short
Maximus again Max
Colin just because
Freddie always a good cat name
Arnie obviously always a good muscle name
Silvester/Sly as above
and finally what about Vinnie mr hardman himself.

C4 as it stands for C for cat!
I have a bengale to and the are a handful at the best of time "A little nuts if you ask me" Mine is named kimi after the racing driver but I am starting to think I should have called her any of the following
1 OI!
2 Stop that!
3 Ouch!
4 Bad Cat!
5 Get Off it now!
As they are the most commen things I say around mine! possibaly a common dog name like Max may work as my cat loves to fetch anything I throw and likes swimming in the fish pond!
Infact I would probaly call a male Bengal Rambo!
Still I love mine to bits and wish you all the best with yours.

i like to %. names that individuals do no longer think of of for a cat. I even have had cats named Booger, Barker, stitch, canines, And superb now I actually have a silver tiger cat named Spot. So what ever you think of of be rather ingenious

Why not give him a name thats the oposite of his size or animal type. I have had cats b4 named kipper, Fido, mouse, Bear. Many find this amusing and you will end up being closer to it as well, trust me.

HEY -
When I got my girl cat, I tried to name her someone from history I admire, and to my SHOCK I couldnt think of any women...
Im sorry girls, but it seems all the greats (in my eyes) were blokes e.g. Clement Attlee, Einstein, John Locke, Newton, , Martin Luther King ,Orwell etc etc
I had to scrapew the barrel and I came up with Rosa. After Rosa Parks (the woman who wouldnt let the white guy sit down in the American South, and that was just as the Civil rights movement was kicking off.

I had a Bengal named "Magglio Ordonez" who died in December from FIP. :( He was not even 2 years old. (I miss him SO much).
I called him Maggs for short. It's a very masculine name, but cute enough for a kitty. He seemed to like it.

since he's a Bengal, why not name him Shere Khan after the Bengal tiger in Kipling's Jungle Book? Or Bagheera (after the black panther)?
