And your problem is?

If you start dieting before you complete your growth (and why, for god's sake? you do say you look slim!) you will destroy the energy intake-expenditure of your body. You will suffer for the rest of your life from a yoyo lifestyle, i.e. lose weight (and look like an African starving), overeat, then try to lose weight again. Not to mention that you will never look good... oscillate between looking like a skeleton and a pumpkin. You will never enjoy the taste of normal food ever again. Just give it up.

Even if you were fat, I would say find a sport you like (I prefer swimming and basketball), add a little muscle to your nice and slim body, stop eating junk food and enjoy your balanced and tasty diet.

Believe me, unnecessary dieting is only a temporary cultural phenomenon. You can show your difference by doing the opposite, eating good and looking good.

If you HAVE to suffer, try eating steamed vegetables without salt, lemon or olive oil. That will satisfy you if you have a masochistic inclination. (But DON'T add salt, lemon and olive oil, because this will make them tasty and ruin your loser streak!)

50k is not a lot of weight for a 12 year old. I do not know your height but that plays an important role in your ideal weight. Many 9 and 10 year old girls who are slim looking weigh about 50k. You need to find out your body mass index or your amount of body fat and compare them to what your ideal BMI is supposed to be. If you do not feel comforatable going to a school nurse or the health department, go see your schools wrestling coach even experienced wrestlers will be able to help you. The coach will have ideal body size from a health standpoint. He will also be able to give a lot of info on proper nutrition and diet. Once you have lost most of the fat in your body you will start to look like a skeleton. Worse is at that point your body starts to break down vital organs for nutrients ie the heart and liver etc. I guess what I am trying to say is, If your slender and still want to get smaller you might be in the early stages of an eating disorder. Investigate the posibility. Don't destroy your future health over vanity. Wrestling coaches see the disorders with in the sport and have to be consumed with proper(healthy) weight loss techniques and good diets. No one will pass judgment on you. We all deal with issues such as this. Dealing with issues or potential ones, is easier in the begining rather than down the road after so much damage is done. The fact that you posted this question says that on some level conscious or subconscious you want help.

Sooner or later you will be stung by the bee of womanhood. Twice. I recommend you get yourself some help from a trusted female adult, hopefully your mom, about your body issues as you continue to develop. Please do not surf the internet searching for things like "teen body development" because you will get a lot of nasty sites.
