I have been a Spanish tutor for 8 years, and where we live, the going rate for a tutor with a 4 year degree and certification is anywhere from $25-45 per hour. I would definitely get references, find out if they are certified, etc... Also, if you are looking for more than one day per week, sometimes they may give you a discount.
