It was a dark time and one person fought tirelessly month after month his whole life to change the laws which meant comfort for some and cruelty for others. For strength he quoted Psalm 119 on his way to parliament every day and year after year he proposed a change in the laws knowing it was not likely to happen yet, yet justice and mercy screamed he must NOT give up. His friend Wedgewood even made a piece of china to help the cause which proved to be influential in Europe.... the work of who's life will be celebrated on the 20th aniversary in a few weeks by books and movies?

the 20 was a typo it was 200 and will be celbrated this month as part of Black HIstory Month.... and no... Blacks would not have a reason to celebrate Darwin who labelled them as an inferior race... this is an English Politician who worked tirelessly for them

Confusing as in the title you say it is 200 year and then later the 20th anniversary. However two thoughts...
1. Celebration of Charles Darwin's life
2.Lincoln's fight to abolish slavery.
Both great men that changed our thinking.
