Okay - well I dont understand how smelling toast would mean a stroke?!
I've heard spirit can create smells - but ask yourself if you know anyone who has passed that the smell of toast might remind you of, as spirit 'make scents' just to say hi and let you know they are around - the smell would mean something to you.
Firstly though you need to rule out the obvious - ie are you smelling toast in the mornings after people have actually been making it for breakfast?
Could the smell be coming from somewhere else like a neighbours home?
Are you always in the same place when you smell it? - Maybe a certain area just has an aroma which smells like toast.

A smell of burning can be a sign that a stroke is imminent, but I've never heard of a smell of toast described that way unless it's burning toast. If your blood pressure is normal and you are otherwise healthy, you most likely have nothing to worry about. Check with your GP if you have concerns.

my next door neighbours house is haunted. The first thing she noticed was the smell of toast....kept coming round my house asking if i was making any which i wasn't! Her TV goes on and off all the time by itself.... the dog keeps barking at the corner of the living room and she saw her husband levitating over the bed.
OK so the last thing was made up but the rest is true.

I get this sometimes. I checked with my partner, and she wasn't cooking toast. I thought I was going mad, but I don't know what causes it.

Wow, if it is i never knew that.
I remember after Easter last year everwhere i went all i could smell was chocolate, it wernt too bad but after a few weeks it was driving me insane. It was in my house, on the streets everwhere it wernt me or my clothes-strange isnt it!
