Check out www.kvvet.com
They have several different kinds depending on what you'd use them for. All you do is measure the bottom of your dog's paw to find the correct size.

How do they get torn up. Do they start bleeding. Do you clean the frequently. Your German Shepherd are tough dogs you should really put boots on them they will chew them up. You dog is very capable of doing lots of things so you shouldn't need to worry about pads unless they are bleeding. I have a 2 year old 78lbs German Shepherd she has no problem climbing over things and I never see her pads being torn. What you should worry about is hip dysplasia.

If you have a Gander Mountain in your area, they have some good dog boots. They come in bright orange and camouflage color. They're about 5 inches high and have Velcro straps for a snug fit. I got some for my 3 yr. old lab.....when you first put them on, they walk funny coz they're not used to or supposed to have their feet encased in anything.
To give her some relief the next time her pads get torn up, clean her paws with warm water, put some Neosporin ointment on them, cover with a clean gauze pad and wrap with medical tape(all these available at your regular pharmacy), and cover the whole foot in an old sock that you don't mind her licking or nibbling on.
This will help her heal a lot quicker and will hurt less when she tries to walk.
Hope this helps :)

I would try to get the ones that have rubber on the bottom, instead of leather. The rubber has more grip (like a tennis shoe) whereas the leather will slip. Also, with the velcro around the top....be careful not to make it too tight, as it will restrict the blood flow to the feet.

most pet stores and outdoor stores (REI, Gander Mt.) carry dog shoes. another place to look is ruffwear.com. they are a bit pricier, however, i have NEVER had a complaint about anything I've purchased there (K9 float coat, and a dog pack for hiking). Good luck and keep havin' fun with your pup! :-D

check out pet stores, they have all kinds of dog clothes, including rain coats for dogs, and they have boots, otherwise they may be able to help with your selection.
