I love having a glass of skim milk and whole grain toast for breakfast ... I'm trying to lose weight and would like to know if Peanut butter is ok to have?

What else can i put on my toast?

PB, although delicious, has lots of fat. I would skip it. You could try putting an all-frut spread that has no added sugar, but I think instead you should consider adding a protein source, like light cheese. Or how about scrambled egg whites/egg substitute?

What ever you choose, good luck!

Peanut Butter is very healthy. It has Folic Acid. It can help to lower blood pressure. It's low in trans fats and 80% of the fat in Peanut Butter is unsaturated.
As it's nut based, unfortunately it does tend to be on the high fat side. But eaten in moderation and as long as exercise is included, can actually help to keep the body healthy. It's a great source of protein, which if eaten 30 minutes or so after a good work out, will help the muscles of the body repair more quickly. The best way to lose weight is to have a well balanced healthy diet. High in fruit and veg, oily fish and nuts. Peanut butter is included in that. Oh and don't forget the aerobic exercise 3 times a week? After 6 weeks the weight will drop off. I know because I've done it myself.

Be careful! PB packs a lot of fat. It sounds like a tasty breakfast to me (I love when the PB melts on the toast). Choose low fat or fat free. There is also a soy alternative (at least in the States).

I also suggest butter and a light sprinkling of a cinnamon-brown sugar blend.
