OK- when you go to the hospital and get IV fluids, they give you Normal Saline, not water. If you inject a small amount of water you'd problably have some discomfort, but I would think you'd be fine. However: a larger amount actually could do damage. Normal Saline is the same composition as your blood meaning there is an equal amount of sodium in the saline and inside your blood cells so there is no changes. If you inject water, the concentration of sodium in your blood cells is greater than the water so all the water rushes into your blood cells causing them to burst! NOt pleasant and if enough red blood cells are destroyed it could result in death!

Depends on a few factors
How much water
How clean the water is (chemical content, bacteria)
How clean are the needles (also hygiene during injections)
Which part of the body is injected
What volume of water is injected at any one time and place
What organs get damaged during the injection (both by the needle and by the injected water)

Range of options? from temporary slight pain, through a long, debilitating illness to a very slow and painful death

If you want my opinion, it is a perfectly pointless excercise- regardless of what you would want to achieve.

Depends on the amount of water you inject

A couple of cc's of medically pure water properly injected ( no air bubbles, clean/disinfected site, new needle, etc. ) probably OK. But, why?

If you inject sterile water from an ampule or a vial nothing will happen. But if it is unsterile water you may get sepsis.

Don't think so....otherwise people in the hospital would be dropping like flies after being hooked up to IV fluids and such.

Hope your question is strictly rhetorical. If you're really looking for a way out, then please call someone you trust and speak with them TODAY. (Maybe a trusted family member or friend, a pastor, or therapist....)

I really don't suggest doing it, because it can lead to a blood clot.

I think that you don't die but it's dangerous. I hope that you don't wanna do this!
