I find it difficult to beleive that any man could think solely about work and ignor all the beutiful women out there.

Also I do not beleive that anyone would turn down a beutiful woman's attention because he would rather spend his time at work on his own with no friend.

All of the extreme work aholics I have meet are generally lonely replacing their empty lives with work. Better than sitting at home with nothing to do and nobody to talk to. Next they wrap this up in the excuse thisis a life choice because work is important. Well bollocks to that, I say.

Personnally I would not bother with lonely, empty, shell of a man like you discribe. How about looking out for a sucessful, guy who can genuanlly balance a sucessful social life and job at the same time without making excuses for his own failure.

Good luck

Show him that you are worth the catch...cook a nice candle-lite meal for him. Find out when he goes on break have a picnic lunch ready for him. Call him for no reason and find out how his day has been. Ultimately if he doesn't want a relationship right now...it won't happen. I am going through the same thing right now and I have tried everything that I know to try. He is so busy I leave messages...he gets back eventually and he would never try to do anything to upset or hurt my feelings. He is very content for us to be friend's and I'm not content to be friends...my situation is very difficult because of how long we've known each other and been friends. We have a very rare friendship that I think could be more. I guess becoming a friend to him is what I am trying to convey. Good luck!!

Sorry, but it is impossible to "make" someone love you, or want to be with you, to make him yours.
Love is not coercive, and it doesn't seek its own.
Perhaps all you can do is simply BE there for him. You can certainly find ways(can you not?) to let him know you are interested AND available.
Unless he is blind, he'll catch on. It could take time... he may be a slow catch.

You cant really MAKE anyone yours, and we all have to persue different people in different ways. For my fella (we met at work too) i just persued him relentlessly till the shy bastard admited he like me and agreed to a date ;p.

Sometimes you have to be relentless, sometimes you have to ignore them and hope they notice you.

But, someone who thinks too much about work now, might always.

If you really think he feels the same way, then I say give him time.

Give him a few compliments --- including something about his face (or tell him he's cute).
