I was wondering if any of you have eaten at Bobby Flay's restaurant in NYC? Is it worth the money, and the time? Does he do any of the actual cooking? Is he actually in the restaurant? I know a lot of times chefs usually aren't, but would be neat to catch a glimpse of him. Also, was wondering exactly where it is located. I know it is in a hotel, but can't remember which one. And if you stay there, would you? I'll be going there in April and am so excited, thanks!!!

Are you thinking of Mesa Grill. I think he has another restaurant, or did Bolo, but don't know if that's still around. He does do alot of the cooking at Mesa Grill and he does come out alot of the time and circulate among the tables.
It located on lower Fifth Avenue, I can't remember exactly, even thought I was just there, I think it's about 16th or 17th Street.

If you are looking for one that's in a hotel, I can't help you, as he is usually at Mesa Grill.

Don't believe the hype. Although it may be a nice experience for some. Mesa Grill is ok - never been to Bolo.

Most "celebrity chefs" are rarely in the kitchen, although I heard the Emeril and Morimoto do make appearances at their restaurants.
