It depends theres so many. Try starting with calafornia rolls, they have the 'safest' ingredients like 'Tuna mayo' etc, when you feel a bit braver try getting a small package of japanese style sushi from asda. Thats what i did the first time it tried (i'm now addicted) Its not the best but its cheap so you can see if you like the general flavour before you splash out in a restaurant. Also conveyor belts are really fun and you can see waht you're going to eat before you choose it...not too expensive either! Go for it!

Sushi is very tasty. If you're afraid of eating raw fish, there are many other varieties of sushi that contains no raw fish, such as the cucumber rolls, eel roll, california roll, etc.
A good way to get started on eating raw fish is to eat bagel with lox. (smoked salmon). the texture is pretty much the same. Or Ceviche in spanish cusine's.

As apposed to bad? Sushi is good, you just have to get it from the right place. I know a place in Orlando where they have the best, but the town I live in there isnt. If you dont like the idea of eatting raw sushi get tempura. The bubba roll and spicy tuna are my fav.

I'm not a seafood fan, my wife loves the sushi, she could eat it all day.
I do however love the kappa maki which are just strips of cucumber wrapped in the rice and seaweed.
I love that!

It's SOOO good!! I would suggest trying it with people who have eaten it before and can help you order. My husband and i go out for sushi a lot (at least we did before i got pregnant).
If you are starting by yourself, try some of the rolls....they are smaller pieces of fish with vegetables wrapped rice. The texture and taste is not "fishy" (what so many people are afraid of). You can also start with all cooked rolls....contains shrimp, crab, lobster, or eel with vegetables. all those items will be cooked.
Enjoy!

I've eaten some really bad food, but sushi takes the biscuit, it really does. It's cold, wet , slimey and salty. It's disgusting.
