Many foods are enriched with Iron. Uncle Bens has a par boiled rice that is very good and is enriched with iron it says so on the package.

Also green leafy vegetables. Spinach, lettuce, escarole. You can find recipe's online. If you are not a green eater, try this,

Get some lipton soup mix, make one package. Put a handful of tortellini in it and about two tablespoons of frozen spinach. You won't even taste the spinach and it's good.

If you like salads, get the mixes with all different kinds of lettuce. Put your favorite dressing on it and you won't notice the bitter taste, it's pretty good.

I just met someone with this Anemia, and when we met a few weeks ago she looked like crap. She has been eating salads and her face doesn't look drawn anymore, so I can tell it's working. Try it for three weeks.

If you cook your own breakfast, you might consider cooking your eggs, bacon, etc in an iron skillet. You don't get that much iron from it, but you do get some. Typically, an Iron deficiency requires much more iron than you will get by this method, so check out trhe link below and see what familydoctor.org has to say.

Iron in meat is easier to absorb - iron from veggies is harder. Some foods inhibit the absorption of Iron, including lemons in any form, coffee, cauliflower, broccoli, oranges, grapefruits, carrots, sweet potatoes, and tomatoes.

Like she said, liver and anything else high in iron... try red meat if you don't have cholesteral issues. Also green leafy veggies like spinach, broccoli. You should probably take an iron supplement too.

Well you can always take iron supplements but they will constipate you. Best take iron rich foods and take VITAMIN C with them too as it helps you absorb iron. Here is a list of some Iron rich foods: Foods that are a good source of iron include: (liver, lean red meats, including beef, pork, lamb--just so others know too ) seafood, such as oysters, clams, tuna, salmon, and shrimp, etc. beans, including kidney, lima, navy, black, pinto, soy beans, and lentils iron fortified whole grains, including cereals, breads, rice, and pasta greens, including collard greens, kale, mustard greens, spinach, and turnip greens (the darker the green the more iron) tofu vegetables, including broccoli, swiss chard, asparagus, parsley, watercress, brussel sprouts chicken and turkey blackstrap molasses nuts egg yolks dried fruits, such as raisins, prunes, dates and apricots (and probably PURE juices from these are rich too)

Guinness is good. Lots of iron! They even give it out in some hospitals to anemic patients.
