Ear crops are done while the dog is under general anestesia.
You will not have the equiptment or be able to get the anestetic to put the dog under to do an ear crop.
They are very painful and the dog needs to be out so you can place the form on the ear and then cut away the outer flap portion.
Have a vet do this.
This is one of the places you should not be trying to save money.
Doing your own shots and such is fine but not ear crops.

Are you sick in the head?? first of all is it really needed that your dog should have her ears cropped? if so this should of been done by a fully trained vet, as should the the rest of the plastic surgery you have been doing, im sure this is illegal, i feel so sorry for the dog, how can you bring yourself to do this to the dog? what would happen in the event of infection?? the ears especially had so many nerve endings, what are you thinking of?? surely your dog should be some kind of companion, not an experiment for you to test these things on , neither should it be a status symbol, for why else would you want them cropped? your a sicko, if your so interested in this, get off your *** and learn something, maybe train as a vet yourself, or are you too lazy? after all that would involve a fair few years out of your life,,, god you got me mad!!!!

What!!
Don't you dare crop your dogs ears!! You leave that for the professionals.
What are you cruel to animals. Do you have any idea how painfull that is. Cruel people have done that to their dogs and their poor ears are in terrible shape.
The more I read your question, the more baloney it sounds. You don't have access to the medication to give them their shots, unless you are a vet or a reputable breeder! I don't think you are either, because you certainly wouldn't be asking Yahoo for answers.
I think you are just looking for a rise out of people. You certainly will get it!!

do not crop your boxers ears. A vet must do this. they put the dog to sleep, they have to control the bleeding and stitch the ear up afterwards. there is alot that goes into cropping. By not taking it to the vet to be performed would be cruel and inhumane.
Go to vet school if you want to learn how to do this.

Why would you do that!!!!That is a job for a experienced vet not you!!!!!If you cant afford to take them to the vet why do you have them?I hate when people take on the responsibility for a animal and then don't do right by it.How about you come over here and let me crop your tail and your ears. With no pain med or sedative. It will be great I am not a Dr it will be both of ours first time. You JERK.Give them to someone who will be as loyal them as they are!

You are very cruel. That is now considered cruelty to animals and abuse. If you do this, I hope someone turns you in, and if you can stand to put a dog in that much pain, you shouldn't have one. I wish animals could do to humans, what humans do to animals. I bet they wouldn't do that to you. Wake up. What have they ever done to you, except apparenlty make you money.
If you have to do something so cruel atleast let a professional do it, if you have any compassion for your animals at all.

Don't do that. I have a friend who adopted a dog who's family tried to crop his ears and now the doberman's ears are all flip-flopped. If you are going to do it, get someone to do it that knows how to.

Would you buy a book "Plastic surgery at home for dummys"
Get them done at the vet, and incorporate it into the selling price of the puppies

i think stuff like that should be left to vets. if anything to avoid infections. surely it bleeds when their have half their ear lopped off?
i like how it's illegal in the UK to get your dog's ears clipped and frowned on by UK dog shows.
