I have a phone/fax, its a samsung inkjet telephone fax. the ink has run out so i cant receive any faxes (not that i get that many)... but my question is - can i still send a fax even if it doesnt have ink? i know that my sending confirmation wont show up, but does it need ink to be able to send a typed sheet?

yes, you still can send faxes, its the receiving end that needs the ink....but you cant to copies and see the faxes if someone sends you one!!! just get e-fax in the meantime!

just download the fax software, get your fax number and go!!!
its so cool....and its free!!
you get your incoming fax via e-mail....if you have a separate printer for you computer, you can print it there!!!
ps.
as long you don't care about having a Chicago area-code for your fax...its free..if you want one in your area-code there is a charge!!!

Do you mean print out fax print outs on a printer? Or do you mean send a fax from a printer?

u can still send faxes call samsung helpdesk the number will be in your instruction mannuel and ask them to send u out a new ink cartridge!!!
