if you are feeling hungry more often it could be an ulcer also however you can permanently solve this problem if you cut 1/2 lemon and squeeze into 150 ml of water and drink it without adding either salt or sugar early in the morning everyday for 1 month even if you have ulcer or eccess hunger both will be diminished within one month. The logic is it is the acid that stimulates the hunger and when you drink this lemon juice the first thing in the morning the brain tells the stomach that already their is enough acid in the stomach therefore produce less acid and this will be the case for 1 month after which you stop the lemon but still the stomach will be producing the same (lesser) quantity of acid thereby reducing the hunger for you. This medicine is fully safe and without any side effects. All the best.

There has been a lot of research recently on the glycemic index of foods.

The principle is this;

Some foods are high in "stuff" which converts very quickly into usable glucose energy. These are high GI foods. The problem with high GI foods is that very shortly after you have had the buzz of lots of energy, your body craves another energy kick. Often a quick high GI snack which goes on in a cycle.

Other foods which are low GI may have just as much energy, sugars and the like. Even sugar as fructose which is 100% sugar has a relatively low GI. The difference is that low GI foods let their energy out slowly so that you don't get hungry quickly.

There is too much to say here and details to gather (for example beans are good) but please read up on it. I went from 120kg to75 kg in 4 months. Mind you I do sometimes have to be reminded to eat.

Celery sticks - you can munch on tons of celery and still add no calories to your diet.
Or try a tall glass of hot bouillon, with a teaspoon of ISABGUL dissolved in it - you can buy it at any pharmacy or health food store. Guaranteed to fill you up for a while.
