I keep getting phone call's some times they have left a number and other times they bar it, is this a scam so that you phone them back at a high rate, so is there any way i could trase there number with out cost to me.

In the UK there is no web site that will let you browse phone number to find the caller for free, though I believe there are pay services.

There are, however many lists of dialing codes, type the first few numbers in there and it will say what part of the country the call was from. If it was a premium rate number (where you call them back and charge you) it will say that as well since they arnt an area specific number.

If you dont want to receive marketing calls try using the telephone preference service and that will reduce the amount of sales calls.

If the callers were genuine callers then they will call back.

If it's not unlisted or a cell phone you could try whitepages.com or switchboard.com. At the very least, if it's an area code unknown to you, you could figure out where the area code is located.
