yes, but the success rate may vary. There are some software on the net that does just that. You see what happens when you delete a file is that you delete a pointer to the file. This pointer tels the OS where the file is. Think of itlike a shortcut icon. When you delete the file you are deleting that shortcut sort of speak. the file is still there. With a special program you can recover it. Be warn though. Because tere is no pointer to the file the OS is allowef to write over it. The more you reboot your computer or use it the more likely you are to write over that file.
My advice is to search the web for recovering delete files. Get a software that has a 30 day trial period. Then try to recover the file. I see no sence to pay a whole lot of money for just one file..
One time I used the search capabiities that windows has under START>>SEARCH. I put the name of the file and it found it under a difernt name. Then it asked me if I want to recover it. It did. This only worked once though. Hasn't worked again.

Maybe. When a document is deleted it is not actually removed from your computer. Only the pointer to it is removed, and the space on the hard drive is marked as "free space". At some point your computer will use that space to store a new file you save. If that happens, the file is gone permanently.
You will need to go to http://download.com and search for an "undelete program". There are several free ones available. Download, install and run one. With luck, the file will not have been overwritten and you can recover it...
