My friend has a smart car (although not rag top hood). It is hideously small, although instead of needing to parallel park she can just drive straight into the space without needing to be the proper way round (I'm sure you'll get what I mean). The only thing is that those cars do not look safe. At least with a standard car there is a decent bit of bumper and bonnet to cushion you on impact, with the smart car there is vitually nothing. I guess it's a good car to have for urban driving but not motorways/long distance etc - but then I guess that's what it was designed for.
