is it always a bad thing?
Or maybe it can lead to that " happily ever ever " ?

It might be good, it might be bad, GOOD in the sense that you have worked out all the bugs from the last attempt & are willing to give it another try, BAD, if you are only thinking of the good times, forgetting why you broke up.(looking for headaches) I will say forget about getting back together and just be good friend, whatever it was you couldn't workout at first try believe me, you are sure not going to start very soon. If you could you wouldn't have broken up in the first place.

when a couple breaks up, there is usually a good reason. most people cant change but there are those few that wil be able to make that change for the other. so make sure that both of you know why you broke up in the first place, and if you both can fix that problem, then it will be happily Ever After for you. Good Luck

no not really a bad think sometimes it can lead to understanding and appriecating what you have. it also can thru own experience after breaking up you go thru thoughts and miss that person and all the bad is not thought about just the good so you miss them and by going back out it wakes you up the second time and if its still not good then it helps you see there is no point in missing them and then you go on
