What does it mean to be Spiritual or enlightened?

Picture two men watching a beautiful sunset in the mountains. One goes on and on about how beautiful it is. The other see noting great about. Turns out the second one is colorblind and is seeing it like an old black and white TV set. When you are enlightened or receive the Holy Spirit in your heart, your colorblindness is lifted and you can see beautiful things spiritually speaking that you couldn't see before. You find that things of a spiritual nature suddenly start to make a lot of sense. You find yourself doing all the things that the atheist on here find so annoying, but you are not doing it to talk down or to act better than somebody, you simply want them to be able to see what you are seeing. You simply want them to experience the joy you are feeling.

i think those mean 2 different things. to be spiritual is to deeply attuned to God or to anything relating to the soul. If you're spiritual, you're bound to be able to connect with God or another souls in spirit.
while to be enlightend means you have insight into a situation or a person

we can become enlightened on any given specific event or thing as a seeminly spontanious revelation or by slow tedious process in time or
enlightened is that flash of all knowing your brain actually lights up
being spiritual is giving every thing a reasoning that accords cause to the higher powers [nature ,god ,even religion]
spiritual is our nature ,our natural crediting of cause to higher causal beings or being.

I think it means to have insight to be able to tell how the other person really feels about the issue.
When I direct energy for healing for a minute or two; I can feel what my client is feeling, and tell them what they are feeling. Unfortunately; this state is only temporary.
I think to be enlightened means you would be able to do that with anyone you meet.

It means to know, then do, God's will. Done without reservation, it is the only source of true contentment. There is nothing else.
