I follow instructions in Tools-email accounts-ad etc. but I keep getting a pop up box "enter network password". This box continually pops up and I can get no further. I am not really up on this stuff so a straight forward answer would be appreciated.

I put in pop.mail.yahoo.com & smtp.mail.yahoo.com as requested. Is that what you are referring to? Email address is xxxxx@yahoo.com

Use g-mail a lot easier to use than yahoo

First u have to activate pop3 access in you email, such as yahoo , hotmail, and gmail etc, those having pop3 access, first activate pop3 access in ur email, and check the settings of incoming mail server and outgoing mail server, and enter the same servers settings in ur outlook ,
Some times older versions wont accept, for that u have to take the demo in the email browsers available on gmail and yahoo, follow the settings, u will defnitely get it

you need your incomming and out going sever addresses (codes) to put in!!! who"s you e-mail account with?
sorry you do say "yahoo " its me not reading the Q correctly
you need the upgrade yahoo mail to do this which i think has a subsciption !
but try ::: in pop, type "pop.mail.yahoo.com"
in smtp,type "smtp.mail.yahoo.com"
those are the yahoo addresses

One thing that is important. In the "server" opion at the bottom, MARK the one that says ".... requires auteh\\hentication" after you have set up the account on pop. Other words - go through the process - do NOT mark. Then say okay on all. Exit. THEn go back again and THEN mark that block. It is ONE of the problems I encountered. Good luck
