I came to faith in Jesus at 17. I'm 18 now. There has been a period in my faith journey where I went back and started masturbating/thinking about sex and doing what I wanted to do. I asked God to forgive me? Will he? Why don't I accept his forgiveness?

Masturbation is neither unhealthy nor a sin against God.

Disharmony is the only sin against God.

Of course God will forgive you! He is an ever forgiving and loving God. Your not accepting his forgiveness because you feel so guilty and convicted. When you were doing what you wanted you knew it was wrong as a christian and the holy spirit in you let you know that wich made you feel even more guilty. God forgives you. I was saved a year ago, I was doing really good for a while and then I fell back and started doing what I wanted. Im now back into God and he was there when I was ready to come back to him, he knows whats in my heart and he loves us. Dont give up because you would be letting the devil win what he is trying to accomplish in your life. The devil is telling you your not worthy enough to be forgiven. But God knows you are! stay strong and pray!

Of course God forgives you- you have to forgive yourself though, which can be hard sometimes- If you return to God and completely give up the thing you needed forgiveness for, it is TOTALLY wiped away.
