Well i would like to know if windows vista allows dual boot system as in xp

i would like to add one more,well i am planning to buy vista buisness,will the dual boot system be applicable there also.means when i turn on the computer i will get options to go into vista or the other OS

Yes. I've been doing it with Vista RC1.

I have not got any empirical records yet I did have my Gateway computer twin booting Vista and Ubuntu7.10. i did no longer observe a overall performance difference in the two OS because of the twin boot configuration. One situation I did have with Ubuntu replaced into the CPU scaling. I even have an Athlon x64 twin middle and the final I knew the potential utilization or scaling in Ubuntu had to be manually set after booting. till I figured this out Ubuntu replaced into particularly sluggish and laggy. could no longer decide the thank you to make the scaling settings computerized after rebooting.

you can dual boot to ANY OS your computer will run
