OK, I was on Internet at midnight last night, and my Dad comes in and come out with " isnt that bloody internet thing closed at this time of night for crying out loud ?"
The World Wide Web in his mind closed at 11 pm.

Awww! How funny!! I remember when we persauded my parents to get a colour TV..they did, then they said it didn't look natural, so they adjusted it to black and white!

Oh man, Dad's are terrific. I loved mine so much!
When I was a teen (think the early 70's) I was especially fond of patchouli incense and would burn it in my room. My Dad would open the door and say "Smell's like an opium den in here, for crying out loud." It took me a while but one day I thought... how does he know what an opium den smells like.
It was just a figure of speech at that time.

Actually, yeah, I did snicker at that.
My mother-in-law won't use a brand-new snow blower again, because two light bulbs happened to burn out at the same time while she was outside using it the first time. Old people. You gotta love 'em. And laugh.
