I used to feel that same sense of loss. Eventually, I convinced myself that it's all unavoidable. There's NOTHING you can do about it. So enjoy the ride, and what will be will be.
Make the most of the time you have with them. That's all you can do. The afterlife will happen the way it happens regardless of anything you do, think, feel or believe on this side.

...this may be authentic, because we are once immortal and there is a yearning choose of each human to go back to perfection or to at least something extra effective than the present state. Afterall, have you ever concept-about what makes us to have the concious of mortality to commence with? likely because our ancestor the position once fell from that belongings. that is why yet another type of evolutionary faith has been conceived: medical progression, by potential of reasoning of expertise. the perfect objective is to harness the expertise receive by potential of psychological reason behind the betterment of the human society. that's between the challenge statements in in basic terms about each analyze councils/laboratory or any medical establishments interior the international. although, yet another type of 'faith' is the Christian way wherein the OT 'developed' from the NT wherein Jesus says 'i'm the way, the actuality and existence'. to enter into this 'way' (of perfection/immortality inspite of you call it) is by potential of faith, not expertise. The question it quite is which evolutionary direction is the right direction. both are so contradictory that one should be acceptable and the different is erroneous and leads to nowhere yet mortality.

I think I can understand what you are telling.
For me I used to think about the death too when I losed
my grand mother and friends later on.
I used to be afraid about those things and think that if I died I may not see those whom I love again. But later on I realized that
life is the journey. Nothing will last forever. Things will come and gone. We born alone then meet and learn so many people experience manythings but oneday we will all have to be gone. :)
May be after life it might be a peaceful place for us. I actually don't know about it. So live your life. Enjoy it. Be happy.
When you gone, then you will gone with a smile.

well i tell you that 2 years ago i tried to kill myself, but i couldn't
now, i'm also terrified by death, i don't wanna die, and i get this feelings especially when i can't breath because of my asthma,
and i don't just throw away these thoughts, i read a lot about it
i even decided to attend medicine , while being an engineer student already
and i managed to not feel sick when i see dead people, i understood better what happens to us when we die( the degeneration of fibers, deshydration,...), i understood why we die, scientifically speaking ( because of the free radicals that our body produces even when we do nothing, just breath) and i got very passionate about robotics
after i finish both faculties i wanna work in designing artificial organs ; i hope one day they can be exchanged just as we today exchange a car's components
and i feel more secure now, but i still take care not to have any accident when i drive, when i travel, when i walk on the street, i started learning martial arts, eating healthier...

All of us go through points of worry or over thinking death.
Death natural part of life. Nothing to be afraid of or even revered.
It is simply just a fact. Thinking about it excessively will only leave you feeling more sad, more worried and over all a crappy way to live. You aren't dead. You are alive. Make the choice every moment to be exactly where you are...not where you have been and not where your going. Be here..NOW. That's all there is.

Funny you should ask this...it's becoming an increasing preoccupation with me. At the moment I just try to run away from the idea.

you should enjoy the life you have while you have it and not waste your time here thinking about what it would be like not to have anymore time
