it all depends if you love your spouse or not...if you dont love them - you have to leave. if you do love them...encourage them to do something about their weight. beauty is skin deep though - so watch out...being slim doesnt necessarily make you a nice person!

I would never do this, however if this person was very obese I would do everything to encourage and help them lose some weight for health reasons and not because I thought they were fat.

We all lose and gain weight, we all get older and things go south or wrinkle, if this is something that a person would have a problem with and would dump their partner over it, then they were never really "In Love" with that person to start with.

Firstly, find out WHY your spouse, who you married in the first place, is now obese. Are YOU anything to do with that? If not, and you can't get them to do something about it, go ahead. Then see what your 'friends' think of you, and say behind your back.

Hell no. I'd go out with a slim-shaped person and that's it so there'd be no obese person to dump

that would be just mean!- besides the slimmer person may not have the qualities that your spouse has.-(that made you marry them in the first place.)

Go to the gym and control your portions and you will never have to deal with this sad situation.

That question so shallow I can't even respond. Good luck in your life because thoughts of this nature will disappoint every time.

If some one did that, then their is nothing to that person. You marry them for who they are, not for what they look like!
