Hi Cara !!
1. If your dog shampoo is not marked "will not sting eyes," consider using human Baby Shampoo for this.
2. Get the top of the dog's head wet, then add shampoo a little at a time and wash his head, face, below his eyes, his jowls/whiskers, and under his chin.
Use very warm water, and take time to re-rub the entire facial area 2-3 times, since this is an area where eye secretions and food can generate much of a dog's odor.
3. Ears is a favorite hiding place for fleas, and defferent breeds with big ears are prone to infections if their ears are wet inside. For them, cleaning inside only with a barely-wet washcloth.

direction no longer any canines doesnt like have their faces washed with water or the rest reason they think of their owneres will harm their eyes . properly there is one way you are able to bathe youre canines face is becareful to no longer positioned any shampoo or water into their eyes . i merely use a small towel or tissue and positioned some water on the towel and in the previous you going wash the face you may continually squeeze out the water so wont have lots wetty over the canines eyes . then careful use one in each and every of youre finger via retaining the moist towel and clean the under the canines eyes softly . that it you may.

Make sure the dog shampoo is tear-free (not all of them are!!) and use warm water and a wash cloth.

Don’t know if it is the best way, but we ended up using a washcloth on our dog. Worked good for us and the dog didn’t mind the washcloth.

I use baby wipes on my pit bull. On his dirty feet, etc. He loves it. Plus it helps freshen him up between bathes.
