1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
I think that's the measure of love. If you can say yes to all then I think you can say you love someone in the purest and truest sense. I think this kind of love is only possibly because of God and it is His desire for us to have it and give it.

Love is the dance of Eternity
It happens although sometimes u dont want it to happen.
Falling in love is like falling off a mountain, the more ur with the person u love, the closer u get to the bottom which is the sea where u swim comfortably and when ur always happy, or which is a river in which u might drown or be eaten by aligators.. and the father u stay away from the person u love, the more u get the chances of catching a branch and climbing back to the mountain.
And when ur on top of that mountain, u usually feel like love sucks and it doesnt matter to u anymore

love is the hardest word to define in the world. To me love is the feeling I get when I see my wife and kids , or I just hear their names. It is looking at my family and just melting, love is the pain I feel when they are in pain and the joy I feel when they are happy. Love is comfort, and safety, and fear and uncertainty. Love is knowing that I cannot even imagine a life without them, love is the panic I feel when I think that I might have to someday. Most importantly love is life. If you believe in God then yes I think it it is His most valuable gift, remember that according to scripture that in his love for us he sacrificed his son, personally I do not believe in God but to me Love is God, for to me love is the most sacred of things, everything I have I owe to loving and being loved, for that is my strength to get up and do what must be done especially when I am down and depressed, and love is my reason for trying to be a better person.

love is not definable
and god has nothing to do with it
love is the feeling of being complete and whole
they make you feel confident and supported
they make you feel safe and you can take on the entire world
even if you come up with the most hair brain idea they say you can do it honey ill stand by you
they will pick you up if you fall and never ever say told you so

love is the desire for the true and eventual happiness and joy of a person; and also, the ability and willingness to make this desire a reality in the life of the person you love! so love means... wanting someone to be truely and eventually happy and doing all that is humanly possible to make sure that person gets the joy and happiness they deserve!

love is one of the MOST commonly used word, with the MOST commonly MISINTERPRETED meaning and/or definition and MOST people have NO IDEA what it REALLY means and MOST people use it MOST of the time!
