anyone had trouble getting their baby to transition to a sippy cup? Those who have what brand and style eventually worked for baby?

NUBY! Nuby is what you want. They come with a silicone spout so that it feels similar to the bottle. These are a GREAT transitioner! Good luck! Very inxpensive too.

Oh and don't start out with buying the hard plastic lid kind that are "spill proof." It makes it hard for the baby to get anything out of them and frustrates them into not wanting to use the cup. The nubys are pretty much spill proof but they are easy for a boaby to get the milk/jucie/water out of. My 1 1/2 still loves her nuby cups lol

nuby sippy cups work best if they are so used to a bottle, they have a soft top like a bottle. i watch a 12 month old and that's the only sippy she will drink out of. good luck.

Munchkin makes the best sippy cups. My son loves them and it was the only cup he would drink out of at first. It is a little different than the one in the link. The ones we use have very large handles and they are for babies 9 months and up. I got ours at Target.

I found these sippy cups called Nuby and they have all different kinds. And they are very inexpensive and worked out great for me. I found them at Wal-Mart.

No babies like sippy cups & it usually takes persistance & consistence to get them to sip from them efficiently - after baby number 3 & hundreds of dollars on nifty baby products i have decided that a simple sip bottle is just as good as any expensive sipper cup. As long as the bottle has a nose you can shut, can be held by the baby (when it is old enough) then it is just as good & much cheaper. & please only ever fill it with water or milk..

i personally like the kind with 2 handles to start off with, they are easier to hold, then when they get older get the cute character ones
