So the girl told him she still loves him but now she has a new BF and when the girl told the guy they were going away for the weekend to the beach for the three days he said F your mother to her IM when she returned. She still wants to be good friends with the guy. He knows they are impossible so why does he blame her. The girl is hurt and doesn't know why he is so angry.

Sounds like an immature guy. Sometimes you can't be friends with an ex. Maybe in time he'll be able to handle a friendship but right now, it ain't gonna happen.

People blame others for their hurt because they're angry and need a person to lay the blame on. Don't take it personally. Just move on and cut the dude out of your life for now.

The girl has a new BF so why does she still want to be good friends with this other guy. He sounds hurt so she should just give him space. If he's only in grade 9 he is not mature enough to do the let's stay friends thing.

Because this is all puppy love and you can't "love" another guy when you are going to the beach with another "hottie".

He is angry because she basically defecated on him and threw a one-liner, "We can still be friends while I treat you like ca-ca!"

That is so disingenuous.

Just kill the friendship and date Mr. Hottie, but saying things you don't mean to people you don't really care about is only adding lighter fluid to a volatile situation.

The answer is his age. Apparently, in this day and age, a certain level of maturity and a certain amount of manners is too much to expect from a high schooler.
