No, I have loved someone so deeply, but I chose to stick around rather than avoid. I'm not sure of your particular circumstance, but sounds like the someone you love so deeply does not reciprocate your love? I'm in the situation right now, where the person I love does not seem to reciprocate my love, and I'm about to face up to the truth by thanking him for all his care and help in the past, then admitting that I have liked him for some time, and then ask that he confirm that he only likes me as a friend, or otherwise - so that my heart can be freed to love someone else.

There are many others who want to love you, but if you keep holding onto a love that is not returned, you not only deprive of the others of your love, you yourself is missing out. I know easier said than done, but seriously, I think it's better to face the truth so we can move on with our lives.

Yes. I was completely in love with this woman, Lauren, and everytime I saw her, I felt like dying. I knew that things would never work between us and that it wasn't even worth the effort. We had been friends for quite some time and I had to walk away from the friendship.

Do I regret it? Not at all. I have met the most amazing person in the world and had I still been followin Lauren around, I would have missed the best thing to ever happen to me.

Yes and boy is it hard and hurtful.I would cry my eyes out. Also if the guy himself is uninterested and is giving the get lost impression then thats gutting. If he has a girlfriend as well it's like wanting to scream out and wanting to talk to him seems impossable is shes around alot of the time you spot him. Another situation is for me is because I'm adopted i became attracted to amy cousin and on a special event he being tipsy/drunk or mabe he waas sobre Ill never know, but we kissed and the next day he came over asking for a relationship, bearing in mind thats why I wasn't sure if he was drunk because he remembered everything and shocked me by turning up.

It might be a possibility, in case the person you are loving do not care about u, but at same time is close to some body else. You may want to see the person, but surely avoid in case he/she is with some body else that they care.

Other situation might be the person has done a mistake for which you are expecting an excuse, but the person is not ready for that. You may want to give some time to the person to let him/her know their mistake.

Not only him, but his street, his city - 5 years later I still can't go there in case I run into him, and then the shaking and stuttering would start .... Trouble is, I have other friends in that city and I am running out of excuses for not vitising them!
