If you think about it, gaining weight was easy. You probably didn't think about what you were doing while you gained it because it was so easy. All you had to do was bring a handful of food to your mouth, chew it and swallow it. Well, losing it is even easier! All you have to do is not bother to bring unnecessary handfuls of food to your mouth, don't waste energy chewing unless it's food you need to eat because you're hungry, and don't swallow anything unless you've though carefully about whether your body needs it. Actually much easier than gaining.

The easy way versus the hard way. I guess it comes down to your definitions of easy and hard.
If you think there is a truly easy (without effort) way to lose weight you have another thing coming. Gaining weight actually takes effort. It takes effort to continually make excuses to not be physically active. It takes effort to keep eating the foods that make it easy to gain weight plus it's a whole lot more expensive.
It may be difficult, initially, to begin changing your lifestyle by exercising regularly and making good nutritional eating decisions but it's actually the easy choice for me. Once you have made that decision continuing to be physically active and eat correctly is simple and fun.
Most people, in America anyway, are on what I call the see saw diet. It's not so much about they eat what they see or saw as it is about the swinging pendulum of their diet. They go from sweet to sour and back and forth. Constantly swinging back and forth between food rich in sugar to foods rich in Uric Acid. It's a perpetual motion diet that eventually propels a person into a life filled with prescription drugs, surgery, Doctors offices, hospitals and enormous medical bills.
If you knew the half of it you would laugh it off everytime you hear about the health care crisis in America. If you want to know more the door is open.

Changing your nutrition and exercise is the only safe and sure way to get fit and healthy. It's easier than you think and much more effective than any pill or supplement!
I've lost over 8 pounds already in a month and I feel great. It's not a diet, it's just smart nutrition and fitness!
With regards to nutrition:
- I drink a 3 litres of water a day to flush out toxins and replenish all of my organs (more while exercising)
- I eat heaps of fruit and veges (high in vitamins and antioxidants)
- I don't drink alcohol, or smoke
- I stopped having coffee, soft drinks, fast foods, fatty foods and foods high in bad carbs
- I eat foods that are high in omega 3 fatty acids (i.e LSA, tinned fish, etc)
- I try to eat 5-6 small meals daily
Exercise is important, but without a balanced diet it just won't work. So my fitness goals are:
- Walking briskly everywhere I go throughout the day and I try and increase my normal daily activity
- I do about 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercises every second day
- Remember to stretch muscles before and after exercise and hydrate constantly (plain water)
- Every second day (instead of plain cardiovascular workouts) I do cardio + resistance training for an hour using Jillian Michael's DVDs (The hardcore chick from "The Biggest Loser")
I find that crunches and reverse crunches are more effective than sit ups and that push ups are great. They definitely have their place. Try and do 20 push ups then 50 crunches or reverse crunches every second night. See how you go.
Anything similar to this will make you more fit, healthier, happier and you'll lose that extra fat that is getting you down. Don't think of it as a diet. It's a lifestyle change and its all about self control and taking care of yourself!
If you like the sound of the tips I'm giving and the ideas I have, feel free to email me at fizzy_rach@msn.com ! Maybe we can be health buddies and help eachother through our lifestyle changes?!
Good luck either way. I know you can do it. You can lose more than me if you're bigger than me. I started off at an average weight already so people with more weight to lose will lose more.

Oh, very easy! Get rid of carbonated drinks, chocolates, pastries, cakes, ice cream, fatty and spicy food. Just eat only fruits and vegetables and drinks 8-15 glasses of water everyday. Try it! I already lose weight from 75 kilos to 62 kilos in 3 months. I am sure you can do this, too.
Have a nice day :)

There is no "easy way". We all know what we need to do....eat fruits and veggies, lean protein, weight train and cardio, 3-5 times per week. Change your lfestyle and the weight not only comes off, but it stays off, too. I'm assuming you do want it to stay off?

back to front --- but the hard way -- is to not be tempted by 'goodies ' in the shape of junk food and the likes --- the easy way --- is to do a lot of walking ( at your pace ) gradually going further each day --- but it must be maintained . it has an up side --- if you drive a car or commute via bus or train --- you don't see a real lot --- if you walk --- you see heaps . good luck .

Which is going to be the easiest one for you to follow...A well balanced diet with smallish portions, or your regular diet (which clearly is not working for you) and lots of exercise. Motivation is the key here. Obviously the combination of both is most effective for weight loss and health, but you can do either.

Well if you want to do it right, the "healthy way" then there's no easy way. If that were the case so many people wouldn't be fat. So the easy way, the bad way is to become anorexic, which I highly don't recommend.
