I have an online boyfriend, we've been talking for almost 5 months now and we're planning on meeting very soon. Do you think his feelings will change when we meet?

There is a real stigma attached to 'online relationships' and the reality is not all online relationships work out but not all 'conventional' relationships do either.

I met my wife online. Neither of us were looking for a relationship and we started out chatting as friends about a mutual interest. We lived on two continents and the last thing I thought was we would end up married.

We met up about 3 years after we 'met' and within 3 months we got together. We dated for 5 years and now we are approaching our first wedding anniversary.

It can work and the best thing to do is go with it and see what happens but keep in the back of your mind that it may not work out, just like it may not have worked out if you met in a bar.

Well, from my experience (meeting people online myself and stories I've heard) no, they don't work out. One of the two people are usually lying about something. You also kinda have to wonder about people who hookup online. Why can't they meet someone in real life (no offense to you, I'm saying some in general).

Your case might be different though. My only advise is to meet him in public and don't get your hopes up. It's really easy to say anything online. If he sounds too good to be true, he probably is. Just be cautious and safe. Hope it all goes well and you've found someone special. Good luck!

One can never know for certain. There are too many variables and intangibles that deal with the senses and obviously cannot surface till you meet. Neither do you know for sure, you must admit. The question hangs over both of you.

i imagine once you correspond via digital mail for a lengthy time period (better than a month) you commence to have a fantasy view of what the guy is like. regrettably, the authentic man or woman would not usually stay as a lot because the fantasy. i ought to fulfill him once available to confirm if there is any actual chemistry there. per chance you receives fortunate and he will be each thing you grow to be hoping! solid success!

if he really loves you... "seeing" you should even "deepen" the relationship cos now, there's something "physical" to represent the object of his affection! what about you... what do you think? do you think your feelings will change?
