What can you lose by trying? A little time. And it could make all the difference to your friend's life. Give God a chance.

Any kind of healing is strictly complementary, any healers that claim a cure are lying so stay well away. I have seen spiritual healing do many wonderful things, and it will do no harm, so give it a go. Make sure your friend continues to have whatever therapy his Consultant/GP advise too.

Distance healing can also be very powerful, so I will send out lots of love, light and healing your friends way.

Miracles do happen. God bless.

* I know that we all possess the ability to heal ourselves, and I have no problem with praying to the God and Goddess for healing and other religions can experience healing by praying to their God, but some of these faith healers are fake healers. If anyone claims your friend does not need a doctor and only prayere will heal your friend, RUN AWAY as fast as you can. Prayer, positive energies faith, along with good doctors care is what heals people, not faith alone. Prayer helps each of us get in touch with that prat of ourselves which is devine. *

As long as they don't say you have to stop conventional treatment - if they do run very very fast please.

Also if they start saying things like 'its because you don't believe enough that you are not healed, it is your own fault you are ill as your sin is stopping you form being healed' - run FAST. My mum suffers from a chronic condition and went to a faith healing service where people were being healed (mainly from minor complaints like mild backache that comes and goes etc.) She was told that she wasn't getting better because she was too full of doubt and she didn't want to get better - it wasn't until they told her that that she started to doubt as she had been full of faith and convinced it would work before.

Otherwise if you believe it can work why not try it cant hurt.

Hi Tamajsic,
My Dad sadly died of Cancer, I too have developed a mild form.
I have checked out "faith healing", and quite honestly, it does not do a thing. Forget it.
I am not being pessemistic, and will try anything, within reason, but power of mind over an incurable illness does simply not work.
OK it puts you in a good state of mind, and therefore promotes a state of "recovery" and fair play to the notion !
I play guitar, violin & keyboard, in a local band, and am in fine fettle, even though I am informed that I am slowly perishing !
That is good therapy! Remain cheerful, and a faith in something sounds fine.
My best wishes to your friend, and may we both live fairly long & fruitful lives

Bob.

When my mum had cancer people told her she should go to some kind of healing meeting, but she decided not to. She said that she completely believed that God could heal her, and she knew that if he was going to heal her she wouldn't need to go to a special meeting. God could heal her however he wanted. She trusted that he knew and wanted what was the best outcome overall. She trusted that he knew better than her what that was.

I wouldn't. I've never once heard of a true bonafide healing from any of those so called "Faith Healers". Sorry about your friend. Doctors and medicine will do more for your friend than any & all the false hope in the world, given by false apostles.

'Faith' means believing in something or believing that somethings works. If your friend is a believer in 'faith healing' then take him there. Is there anything to lose anyway?

Depends. Are you in his/her will? Are they leaving all their life insurance proceeds to you?

If not, then right quick butt out of their business and get a life of your own.

If a house is on fire, I bet you would rather pray for those trapped inside instead of calling the fire department.

I'll pray for you.

You are like all those folks who tried to convince my cancer stricken mother that Jesus was the cure for cancer.

Do you think you are so favored with God that all you have to do is take them to church and they will be cured. I bet you think you are the second coming of Christ.

Whatever.
