ive been doing some cardio recently, but ive been getting bored so ive taken up tennis. i was just wondering if its a good way to lose fat/burn fat...i used to play, so im not too shabby...just wondering if i play for 45mins would i be burning calories??

If you play high level tennis it is the best cardio. I know college basketball players that the coach required them to play tennis in the off season to keep in shape. They thought it was tougher than basketball practice.

Now if you are just hitting the ball back and forth and not chasing it down, it is only moderate cardio.

Anything is better than nothing have fun anyway.
