Snoring in little kids is often to do with the child having an unusual narrowing of the air way.

If she's overweight, this can cause it.

There are some kids that are born with unusually large tonsils and this can be corrected by having them removed. You may be surprised to hear this, but if your child is snoring and this is interrupting her sleep, her growth may be affected as growth hormone is released during deep sleep - something all kids need a lot of.

Take her to the docs and they will hopefully be able to advise you on what to do next. Maybe a sleep study or checking her tonsils

Good luck :-)

My three year old constantly snores and coughs, and persistently has a cold or strep throat. I took her to an ear, nose, and throat specialist and it turns out that she has abnormally large tonsils. When she sleeps they flop over her airway a little which causes her to snore. We are having her tonsils and adnoids romoved next week. Mostly so that she is more comfortable but it will help with the snoring as well.

My 4yo daughter also snores, I am taking her to the docs as I believe her nasal passages are too narrow inside - is there any family history of this? My mother in law had to have an op and so have a few other people I'm aware of - it's worth getting checked out, you don't want her to be embarrased at sleep overs etc; as she gets older.

In children snoring may be due to tonsils or adenoids so get the child checked with a doctor. More remedies

Might check with a doctor(ENT) about whether your 4 year olds adenoids are too large. That is a common cause for snoring.

She probably has adenoids which cause a bit of an obstruction, it can make some children fussy eaters- they don't taste the food so well and can't breathe properly when they have food in their mouths. As she grows it will probably improve as the nasal cavity/adenoid ratio alters. I'd get her in the habit of blowing her nose before bed so its as clear as possible.

Take him to the doctors, most times it is just that the kids adonoids are big so thiss why they snore. But there can be othr thins.
Good luck
