to be religous and be a bad person... or not be religious and be a kind, good person?

Well it's wrong to claim to be religious and say for example that you're a 'Christian', but not actually walk the walk.

It's better not to be religious and be a good person. You can always get religion later if you feel led to it.

The second, no doubt about it. There are plenty of people out there who fit into both categories and I'd definately rather associate myself with the latter.

It is better to be the second one as Jesus said that it is a great offence for someone to be lukewarm,better to be hot or cold than this.
