I believe that when the bible was first written it was true. But then man started to translate it that's when thing started to go wrong.
Man has always been around but in spirit form living with The Lord until it was his/her time on earth.
We all helped the Lord created the earth and the heavens and everything that was here in the beginning.
It is hard for us to relate this while were here on earth because on earth we come from our parents and ancestors and so on.
The universe in its vastness would of taken time to create. We have existed before we came to earth
Nothing is ever Black and White, read between the lines and think carefully about what i have told you.
Look after yourself.

"O ye of little faith"
AUTHORITY - Should the Bible be the final authority of Christianity or the Church? Well, Christ stated that the Church, not Scripture should be the final authority: "And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the Church: but if he neglect to hear the Church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican." (Matthew 18:17 ) Christ did not state to refer to or consult Scripture for disputes and correction. He said to go to the Church as It is the final authority in Christianity. In addition, St. Paul states that the Church, not Scripture is "THE pillar and ground of the truth." (1 Timothy 3:15) Since the Church alone is mentioned as the pillar of truth, then It alone has the right to discern the truth and interpret Scripture. For if individuals could correctly interpret Scripture, then all interpretations would be exactly the same as there can only be one Spiritual Truth for the plural of the word "truth" never appears in Scripture. The Church is Christ's bride (Ephesians 5:29) and has "no spot, wrinkle or blemish" (Ephesians 5:27). Christ also stated that the gates of Hell will not prevail against His Church (Matthew 16:18) so how can the Church commit error? Individual clergy may commit sins, even popes commit sins because in the Church there are both "weeds and wheat" (Matthew 13:30

1) NO
2)NO
3)He was always alive...from time indefinite to time indefinite.
4) God has no beginning.
5) He has not revealed the answer to that question.
Creation proves God has always existed. If God did not always exist, there would be NO creation.

Interesting question.
There are two broad streams of answers you'll get.
On the one hand you'll get those who are so brainwashed that if they were told the Earth was flat (a policy implemented for over 1200 years by christianity after Greeks proved first it was a sphere over 2,300 years ago) they'd believe it again.
They're the "the Bible is 100% fact", let me shut my eyes, close my ears and proclaim my inner sheep.
The second is the philosophical argument concerning existence, the universe, the concept of god as a deity.
