Zyban added to Zoloft and Torridal is this normal?
I had a migraine on monday the doctor offered Percoset I said no thank you lets try the Toridol ( high dosage of ibuprofen) I also got a perscription for the zoloft ( to treat bi polar) the next day I also got ( from the SAME doctor) zyban to quit smoking ( which will help with the migraines. I took the torridal the night before took the zoloft in the morning and the zyban in the afternoon.....I was so fulll of nervous energy I couldn't sit still. Is this a normal reaction should I be concerned or just wait it out.

Zyban and Zoloft are normal in combination. Zoloft works through serotonin and Zyban works through dopamine so they actually work pretty well together. Zyban can actually help avoid some of the side effects of Zoloft. Toradol is only indicated for short term use and you shouldn't use it very often. You might be feeling weird because you started both Zoloft and Zyban at the same time and it can take a little while for your body to adjust but that should pass. If it doesn't go away or it gets worse, call the doctor.

Toradol is a NSAID (non steroidal antiinflammatory) similar to ibuprofen, but it's not the same drug. Here's some info on it:

As far as interactions with your other meds, check with your pharmacist or doctor in the morning. You might talk with him about taking one med, making sure there are no side effects, and then adding the other meds a bit later.
